Make cheese. Stay for the afternoon.
The story

Start slowly. Bring a picnic and find a quiet patch of the Amsterdamse Bos before heading to Ridammerhoeve for the 13:45 workshop. Down in the cheese cellar, you’ll make your own goat cheese to take home. Then it’s into the stable to meet the goats supplying the fresh milk, followed by a goat-cheese fondue with organic white wine or fresh mint tea. If you’re not ready to leave, stay a little longer to watch the afternoon milking.

Picnic in the Bos — Bring something good, find a quiet spot in the Amsterdamse Bos and make an afternoon of it.

  2. 13:45

Make your own goat cheese — Head into Ridammerhoeve’s cheese cellar and turn fresh goat milk into a little cheese to take home.

  3. Afterwards

Meet the goats — Tour the farm and meet the goats behind the milk you’ve just been working with.

  4. Later

Finish with fondue — Sit down to organic goat-cheese fondue with a glass of organic white wine or fresh mint tea.

Why Tonight?

A hands-on afternoon that feels much further from Amsterdam than it is: make a little goat cheese from fresh farm milk, meet the goats, then sit down for fondue before cycling back through the Bos.
