Halloween with a church organ
A wind orchestra and church organ turn Bach, ghosts, musical theatre and pop into a slightly gothic Saturday night.

One week before Halloween, WesterHarmonie takes over De Bron with a wind orchestra strengthened by the church’s organ. The programme moves between baroque, romantic music, musical theatre, jazz and pop, tied together by witches, ghosts, legends and nocturnal stories. It is theatrical without becoming a theme-park Halloween night — and the organ should make the darker parts sound appropriately enormous.

Take your seat in De Bron — The church setting is half the reason this works.
20:00
Let the organ do its thing — Wind orchestra and church organ move through two hours of mysterious and playful music.
22:00
Leave slightly spooked — A Halloween night without committing to an all-night costume party.
The good kind of Halloween plan: no generic costume party, just a neighbourhood orchestra, a huge church organ and two hours of deliberately dark music.
Would you actually go?
