Make a Scent. Make a Pizza.
Make your own perfume. Then make your own pizza.

Ambacht in Beeld takes over NDSM for a weekend of workshops, demonstrations and makers. There’s a lot you could book. We went through the programme and found the two we’d actually build a day around. Start with perfume. At Lauren Jetty's workshop, just twelve people learn how to blend aroma molecules, build rose and amber accords and eventually create at least two fragrances to take home. Then wander the festival for a while — ceramics, textiles, wood, metal, food — before following your nose somewhere considerably more edible. Make your own pizza. Learn the dough, get your hands messy, then eat the result. Perfume in the morning. Pizza later. Plenty to poke around in between. A very good excuse to spend the day at NDSM.

12:30-ish — Have a wander
Explore Ambacht in Beeld, watch craftspeople at work and see what else catches your eye.
Later — Follow your belly
Head to the pizza workshop. Make the dough, learn the technique, eat what you’ve made.
After — Stay at NDSM
If you’re not ready to head home, grab a drink somewhere around the wharf and make a proper day of it.
Would you actually go?
