The story

Bar Blitz takes chess out of the club room and drops it into Skatecafé. Forty players, 5+0 blitz and a one-hour Swiss tournament in one of Noord's best warehouse spaces. You do not need to make chess your whole personality for this one — come to play, stay for a drink, and let the evening carry on from there.

The evening

  1. 18:30-ish

    Get to Skatecafé early. Grab a drink and settle in.

  2. 19:00

    Play 5+0 blitz. Ten rounds, one hour, very little time to overthink anything.

  3. After

    Stay at Skatecafé or wander into Noord for the rest of the night.

Why Tonight?

Competitive enough to give the night some energy, casual enough that it still feels like going out.
